Raid

Found this off the net. Thought it was cool (read: geeky) enough to share.

Qn: Whats the difference between Raid_0 and Raid_1?
Ans: In Raid_0 the zero stands for how many files you are going to get back if something goes wrong.

In other news, I’ve made my *ahem*obiang*ahem* spects for NS. But someone *ahem*JE*ahem* says that they look nice. I still prefer my Oakley (which the frame recently broke and was just repaired for $80).

I’m feeling rather unmotivated and uninspired as of late. Only God knows why. Its not emo per say, and its definitely not sheer laziness (or at least I really hope its not). But I feel i’m lagging behind in the tasks I set myself out to accomplish as of late.

On the upside, my neurons have been rather active, thinking about a great deal of things that I don’t believe should be troubling me at such an age.

Then again the combination of hyperactive neurons and uninspired flesh isn’t doing wonders for my self confidence and subsequently my self esteem. Kinda makes me want to fade into the background for a bit and just let the world pass me by. Kinda. At least it does sound tempting doesn’t it?

And now I find myself talking to myself.

First CMPB, then NS

Medical check-up at Central Manpower Base (CMPB) today. People there were really rather efficient. Then again, it is the Singapore Defence Ministry we’re talking about, so there. Case in point.

Tested hearing, eyesight, took x-ray, drew blood, dental exam, ECG, heigh/weight, medical review. And that’s about it. Was expecting an IQ test thigie, but oddly enough was told I could go back after the medical review. But who was I to argue? <– See, I’m getting into the NS mentality already. Heh.

How time flies. I could have sworn that it felt like I just graduated from VS last year. Sigh.
