Funny
Its funny how I used to so happily count down to the 9th. Then fate had to give me an enlistment date that falls on the 9th.
That same fate, mind you, now threatens to put me in Cougar Coy, which, according to the grapewine, is a rather xiong coy to be in. To be honest, I’m not exactly looking forward to be in a xiong coy, but if fate should so decide to deal me that hand, so be it. Many thanks to JE for being there to support and console me. I really couldn’t ask for more. =)
If you can’t change your fate, change your attitude.
And in case i don’t get to blog again, Happy 16th! =D
Cruise Control
Been crusing on Star Cruises (Superstar Aquarius) last week. One of my few indulgences in life (especially before I head into NS). I must admit it was a very relaxing and pleasurable experience. Just the 2 of us and lots of water all around.
Cost is a bit prohibitive if it weren’t for the off peak season deals, but I guess running a ‘hotel’ on the high seas equipped with a casino (from which JE won a total of $10.20 from), swimming pool, basketball court, bars, restaurants, theatre’s, excellent service, live entertainment, arcade etc.
Stopped by Penang and Phuket, did some sightseeing and shopping, and before we knew it we were birthing at Harbourfront.
And in what might be the most interesting turn of events, I didn’t touch the net once during the whole journey. (Even though the ship had Internet for an attractive SGD$8 / hour). You have my permission to be astounded.
In other news, I’ve added a countdown till NS on the sidebar. Here comes the feelings of apprehension as to what the next 2 years might bring…
15.1
Its been 15 months of joy.
1 month to 22 months of __________. (I guess i’ll fill you in when I get there)
Papaya
The fruit of the papaya grows at the top of the tree trunk, not at the bottom.
Now you know. =p

Fried rice from Yishun beats Long John Silvers hands down. =D
