Changi Youth Ambassador

Went to the airport for duty on Sunday. Was stationed at T1 (Transit Area) West counter. It was so damn bloody fun.. =)

Basically my job scope was to help guide passengers, ease the load of the Customer Service Officers and be an ambassador for Singapore/Changi Airport. I originaly thought that I would be very reserved and thus not really be of much ’service’ on my first day. Turns out I was wrong.

My very first ‘customer’ was someone looking for a Supermarket. So I guided him to the 7-11. Cool.

There were about 15+ people I helped in total, far more then I expected. Some had difficulties speaking English so through body language and hand signals, I finally understood what they wanted. Others just needed directions or had questions regarding what they were supposed to do.

But regardless, it was damn fun..

Oh, and Australian and British people are very very friendly. It seriously was a pleasure helping them.. Can’t wait till next week!
