National Day

I just finished a round of bloghopping.
I realised that most have blogged about Singapore turning 41.
I see that most of those wished Singapore a happy birthday.

I have not.
My house didn’t even hang the national flag this year.
Does that make me ‘un-Singaporian’?

Oh well, better late then never.
Happy Birthday Singapore.

Forever Young

Damn, I think I’m addicted to the song ‘Forever Young’ by Alphaville (original singers). First heard it on Mr Siow’s presentation/slideshow during the VS130 ceremony. Which reminds me I said I was going to blog about it weeks ago.

Oops. I blame it on the exams. =)

Anyway, here it is, Forever Young.

Let’s dance in style, let’s dance for a while
Heaven can wait we’re only watching the skies
Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst
Are you gonna drop the bomb or not

Let us die young or let us live forever
We don’t have the power, but we never say never
Sitting in a sand-pit, life is a short trip
The music’s for the sad men.

Can you imagine when this race is won
Turn our golden faces into the sun
Praising our leaders, we’re getting in tune
The music’s played by the, the mad men

Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever, and ever?
Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever young?

Some are like water, some are like the heat
Some are a melody and some are the beat
Sooner or later they all will be gone
Why don’t they stay young?

It’s so hard to get old without a cause
I don’t want to perish like a fading horse
Youth is like diamonds in the sun
and diamonds are forever

So many adventures couldn’t happen today
So many songs we forgot to play
So many dreams swinging out of the blue
We let them come true

Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever, and ever?
Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever, and ever?

Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever?

Robin Hood

Saw this on someone’s siggy today. Heh. Interesting. (Edited for punctuation)

If Robin Hood takes from the rich and gives to the poor, then wouldn’t that make the rich, poor and the poor, rich? Then he would have to steal from the rich (who were poor at first) and give to the poor (who were the rich at first). Ok! Anyone else see a pattern here?

The last stretch

Assignments all handed in; WEBA, ELIT and IOB (my GEM) done. So not i’m finally free to study for the final papers. All 4 of them.

Yet I still have no mood to blog. Or perhaps it because its 2.50 in the morning and I’m falling asleep already..
