Honestly, there’s nothing great about being 18.

I can now (legally) buy alcohol, which I don’t consume.
I can now buy cigarettes, which I don’t smoke.
I can now go clubbing, which I don’t.
I can now (legally) watch M18 movies, which I could do previously anyway.

So yeah. Bottom line is, 18 is not such a big deal.

MST Results

Got back NETF and OPSY results today. 94 (as expected) and 88 respectively.

Extremely dissapointed with my OPSY, threw away 8 marks simply because I read the question wrongly. I wrote 17 lines for that question. I got 0 marks.

The required answer was 4 sentences.

Blog Updates

I’ve just finished loading my old posts into the archives. Old permalinks should automatically be redirected to the new site with the requested post instead of being redirected to the index.

If you have not already noticed, the “Links” reflect the time when the blog was last updated (mouseover to view) as well as appends “(Updated)” to indicate if the blog was updated within the last 12 hours. All times (except the time the list was last generated below found below all the links) are in GMT, have not found a way to convert to SG time yet, so you have to manually add 8 hours to the time there. Appologies for that.

I’ve also implemented a poll (see “Active Poll”) on the sidebar, please do test it out as I’m playing around with AJAX (a technology that updates a page without reloading the page from the server).

Below that you will see a “This Week Last Year” that lists the post for the period of one week a year ago.

Was supposed to convert cBoard from CGI (Perl) to PHP but I’ve discovered that I don’t really have a whole lot of time to do so this weekend. Next week is another stressful week with Assignments / Journals / Projects (Web) due. Sigh. Wth.
