EOA ’staff’ day

Sheez, been busy with the Sec 4 rostering since I logged into MSN. But its a commitment I made and its a commitment i’ll uphold.

Came back from EOA (Educational Outdoor Activities) ’staff’ day with Farand and Azad (yeah, finally managed to catchup with da man). A day when we finally get to experience the high elements ourselves instead of being grounded conducting the activity. FUN FUN FUN. =)

Did CRC (Challenge Rope Course) first which was rather unexciting I must admit. Then moved on to the rockwall, which was fun, but I’m still using too much of my arms instead of my legs.

Moved on to Zipline (Flying Fox) after that and that was the most fun. The line’s quite slack, so the first 2 seconds or so is a complete freefall, (as in 9.81m/s^2 towards the ground) before getting picked up by the line. Whee!!

That was followed by absailing, which i upped my time-to-bottom to about 8 seconds, so thats an improvement. So yeah, that concluded the EOA ’staff’ day.

Looking forward to more camps, but since I still have exams I guess I’ll have to wait. Sigh.
