You Know You’re..
You know you’re screwed when you miss out one important line in a damn (Final) paper.
Java Exam
You know you’re in big shit when you just finish taking your paper and have this nagging feeling that you’re going to do as well as you did for AMaths in VS.
Maths Exam
You know you’re almost gone when you don’t know what else to study for a given exam.
UWOS Exam
You know you’re weak when you try to do 50 but fall short at 35.
Pushups
You know you’re rusty when you realise that its been over 4 months since you’ve last had a decent game.
Badminton
You know you’re not going anywhere when you paddle against the current since everyone else is paddling harder and faster than you.
VS
You know you’re stressed when it never rains but pours.
Co-ed, Exams, Mentoring
You know you’ve spent too much time online when you can predict when your contacts come online and when they go offline.
MSN
You know you’re lazy when you network your Desktop PC just so that you can monitor the status of your download without having to check the desktop which is just next to you.
P2P
You know you’re on a roll when you want to network the entire house so that you can open the gate and unlock the door without leaving your computer’s side.
Smart Home
You know you’re weird when you read this article and smile to yourself.
Geek
You know you’re really bored when all of a sudden, you come out with stuff like this.
=)
Go Jump Down
ARRGH!! Just finished Java exam today. Missed this ONE important sentence that said we needed to code the algorithm with a while loop.
I used a bloody for loop.
Freaking hell.. Its like 10% of the bloody paper lah (5% of total assessment criteria).. Lets calculate:
First Practical Test : 24(%) / 25(%)
BallGame Assignment: hopefully 23-24(%) / 25(%)
Thats 47% / 50%.. Which means I need to get ALL the damn questions right for this exam (giving me 45(%) / 50(%)) in order to even hope for a distinction.
BASKET. Can go jump down liow.
Back to VS
Headed back to VS yesterday afternoon for mentoring.
Unfortunately, no mentoring took place as the Sec 4s were, simply put, not there. We’ll have to rework our strategy with the support of the teachers.
Helped Naresh with the badminton proposal a bit before deciding to camp in the Prefects Room and watch the games of carrom being played.
Had some really light hearted moments there, the kind that we used to bathe in while we were still in VS. Someone mentioned in the midst of the co-ed issue that Victorians seem to be able to communicate and relate to each other seemingly telepathically.
I can’t agree more.
Its something that only happens in a single-sex school. No, I take that back. Its something that only happens in Victoria School. =)
VS | Band 1 | Press on..
Its official, VS is in Band 1 of the school’s rankings. Would have blogged about it sooner but I had the first paper of my exams today.
We are also not going co-ed.
I think Bertrand’s post on wewillnotforget puts it best;

To my Sec 4 juniors reading, don’t harp on your prelims, regardless of what you think you’ll get. This is it, your final lap. Time to shine. Time to show the world what you’re made of.
Go for gold. Do VS and most importantly yourself proud.
NIL SINE LABORE
VJC.VS.Life
Was taking a break from studying just a while ago, so I decided to listen to my MP3 collection else they suffer from data rot for not being accessed in such a long time.
Guess what came out first?
I Want You by Savage Garden. (For those unaquainted, its a freaking cool song that’s used for a freaking cool mass dance in VJ).
And so in typical iceburg-hits-the-titanic style, all hell (heaven in this case) breaks loose. Never thought I’d say this but DAMN I miss VJ. Just that song alone is enough to bring back memories of the hall, which reminds me of badminton trainings there.
Which in turn reminds me of VS Badminton, which in turn reminds me of VS PB/CIC/LTC, which in turn reminds me of the teachers whom I’ve come into contact with, which in turn reminds me of my friends which in turn reminds me of all the wonderful memories I’ve shared with them.
Sigh, I’d better get back to studying before I get caught in an endless loop.
