The drop that tips the balance
Now, I’m seriously considering trying to join poly, not because I don’t think I can cope (actually, I think I can after the make-up lectures) but more because it seems like the better choice.
The drop that tipped the balance came from my Computing Teacher, Mr Gi. He told me something along the lines of ‘I’ll be better in Poly’, and I must thank him for his wisdom.
So yeah, shall not dwell on it too much, enjoy (and suffer somewhat through) the first week of school, then shall contemplate further later.
Decisions, the evil that confronts us.
Dying : Stressed beyond compare
VJ life can only be described as stressful. I’m dying here. Didn’t even get to on my computer yesterday. Those who know me well enough, you can pick your mouths off the floor now.
Seriously, I look around and still wonder what I’m doing in VJ, why I’m torturing myself and I have yet to come to a concrete answer.
As much as I hate to admit it, I sorta feel like dropping out and taking the other route, via Poly. I guess I’ll take at least a week first, to allow myself to settle down and see how things progress from there. If I’m still struggling to catch up, well… we’ll see..
Can I imagine myself in VJ for the next 1 1/2 years? Having one on one lessons with my Malay teacher and not understanding a word that is coming out of the Maths lecturer’s mouth?
O2 : The second day
Had orientation again yesterday, it was much more fun then wednesday. Went around Marine Parade area having an ‘amazing race’. Was with a super enthu OG and that made it even more fun.. So thanks to my OG, ‘Greese’ for making yesterday so darn fun..
Too much to blog about, not enouf time, but I wanna get something off my chest.
At the beach, after doing a few mass dances, the guys from VS did the spelling cheer. And as VS guys normally do, there was a lot of pushing and shoving. But i’ve come to (thanks to much experience as a black shirt) anticipate that and reposition myself to absorb the shock as much as possible so we don’t end up all on the floor.
Then came along an ex-classmate of mine, (VS 4G), who decided to be a bloody clown and jump into the middle with no regard for the safety of others whatsoever. And to make it worse, that baboon (no, that would be insulting to baboons), that ass (no wait, that would be insulting to asses), that cockroach (still insulting to cockroaches but thats as low a lifeform as i can think of) decided to push outward from the middle, causing loads of hevoc and a few injured Victorians.
ASSHOLE, yes YOU Farhan.. Seriously, if I was not a Victorian, he would be waking up in a hospital room.. Thus he should be thankful that Singapore has such a strict policy on guns..
Reply to messages on communi-board
Ok, this post is for me to reply to the people who left me messages on communi-board. Can’t be replying to 5 ppl at one go. Shows how much i’ve not been online. Hope this is not a sign of things to come…
muz: ARRGH!! haha.. boo to you too?
cher li: haha..
but yeah, you constant 6 pointer, me sudden 9 pointer. you cope, me scared.. hahaz.. WHEE! mass dance, but i’ve only managed to grasp the Whiney Whiney, the rest are like, woah..
farand: haha.. the dance moves and music is on the net if you wanna learn, though doing it alove vs. doing it with a large mass of ppl is bound to be different. haha… yes farand, rub it in.. hahaz..
izzat: haha.. relax, i guess JCs arn’t that much diff. though having many VS ppl in VJ is good. And bad too but nvm.. As for the black shirts, nah, I dun know if I can cope as it is, so dun wanna join SC since I’m not sure I can give my 100% to it. Besides, its fun to be one of the crowd once in a while..

VJC O2: The End or the Beginning
First day in my life as a VJCian. Felt awkward going to ‘school’ in the morning. Perhaps it’s just me.
Orientation was ok. Not the most interesting event I’ve been to, but hey, I consider a trip down server log files interesting.. So there. Perhaps it was a little disorganised esp in the first part of the morning, but I think Alvin did a great job nonetheless.
CCA walk around saw me wondering aimlessly (while waiting for my OGL to help me grab the Orientation Shirt which I didn’t take when I was supposed to. ( so sorry about that )), then hung around Gary, Cher Li and John Ang who were promoting Interact. HAHAHA.. ok. nvm, inside joke..
Then had lunch with my old classmates (VS 4G), then went to the hall. Learned Whinny Whinny, the mass dance.. Damn cool.. Farand, you have no idea what you’re missing..
. Then again, I have no idea what I’m missing in Poly
.. Played some icebreaker games, then had some game show thingie.
Left about the time they started teaching (VS > VJ) cheers.. Went to the gym to train with the badminton team. Fun.. The assisted pull up machine is damn cool.. haha.. the 7 of us, did a combined 100 assisted pull ups.. haha..
Left soon after.
So now comes the serious part; I’m still wondering if this the the beginning of something wonderful or the end of it. Don’t get me wrong, I love VJ, I love VS, but I think I still love VS more. Though thats bound to change with each passing day in VJ.
