nono, not the magazine.. my age.
I think birthdays are begining to loose their meaning to me. Had a very small scale ‘celebration’ (though why people celebrate getting older is beyond me) with my family and now here I find myself blogging.
Wow. I’ve been in this world for slightly over 17 years. Of those, 10 years was spent studying and about 3 years of not knowing anything. Time really does fly. Before I know it, I’ll be 21 (and then I can FINALLY register my company under my name) and not long after that, i’ll (hopefully) finish Uni and start full force on Jonaize.
So here I am. 17 years in the making.. and still as clueless on life as the day I was born….
JONAIZE.COM
Ah.. The title says it all. I finally have my domain. WOHOO!!
For Web Design Services, you know who to call.
The Working Life
Hah. Can finally get this post typed out since my keyboard is ok for today. Lets hope this lasts.
Ok. Yesterday was officially my first day at work. Haha. I’m EMPLOYED people. Not that I enjoy being employed, but its nice to be able to say that while my friends go “I’m STUDYING!”.
So yes. Work yesterday was ok. Pretty relaxed and managed to get some reading done. I was given an official tour to the computer rooms and the LAN room in the boys block and the main LAN Room in the Girls block (Why the heck is the main LAN Room in the Girls block?? Though I’m not complaining. :)). Got the manual for the switch and gonna do research and testing prob next week.
Today was more stressful. We had to collate the people who acknowledged the announcement passed around, and there were 2 announcements for groups of ppl who overlapped the groups. Managed to get it sorted somewhat before leaving @ 9.40.
Oh. Went to the hall before work today. Saw the new sec 1s trying out for the team. Then Chun Han came down from VJ. Stroked with him a bit then had to go get changed for work.
And now gotta finish my web projects. WHEE! Life is fun.. haha.

Keyboard Screwy
My keyboard is fished up (spelling mistake on purpose). It keeps sending the “Up arrow” Keypress to my computer. Making it almost impossible to type.
Started work. Its ok. Blog when my keyboard is nice to me

Back from Sec 1 Orientation Camp
Just returned from Sec 1 camp not too long ago. It was fun, as always.
3rd Jan
Met Farand at the busstop near VS and proceeded into school. Along the way, saw the parents / maids of the Sec 1s carrying their bags for them. Oh well, VS will soon train them into independent students. Arrived there, nothing much, then had a rushed lunch and off to Sungai Buluh Nature Reserve. The night was pretty relaxed fir the 3 of us (Firdaus, Farand and Myself)
4th Jan
Campfire night! But I’m getting ahead of myself. Went to Sungai Buluh AGAIN in the morning to conduct Orienteering, came back to camp for lunch and after that guess where I went? Sungai Buluh AGAIN. That makes it the 3rd time for this camp and there I walked a grand total of 8 rounds. If you want to include orienteering last year, that figure grows to 13. Thats 13 rounds around the Route of 2km. Thus, I’ve walked 16km over the last 2 days. WHEE!
Campfire was really nice, and would have been perfect if the zipline fireball actually works (Yes, zipline fireball again). Oh well, no choice since Mr. Siow insisted that a zipline be done. And here I was hoping for a new ‘remote igniton’ or catapult method. Nvm, there will be more campfires to come.
But the fireball failed because, as smart as he is, Mr. Siow forgot to line the initial 50cm or so of comscotch with alluminium foil or other fire resistant material. And so, as you can guess, the fireball burned the comscotch even before it could start travelling down towards the fire.
The items put up were not very original but then again, I don’t really expect Sec 1s to come up with something solid in less than 3 hours. Played some games then the fire started to ‘explode’. We later deduced that it was due to the traped air under the CEMENT pit expanding and forcing its way up. Then came Farand’s presentation which hopefully set the mood for the rest of the 4 years that they have in VS.
5th Jan
Nothing much today. The Sec 1s did area cleaning and the 3 of us talked for the better part of the morning. Taught the blur sec 1s some cheers then headed back to school. There, they were brought to the hall and after a few ’speaches’, we sang the Victorian Anthem for the last time with the Sec 1s and a last (quite solid) Spelling Cheer. The End.
Victorian: Once and FOREVER more….
