Tragedy

Just watched the news about the tragedy that just occured Sunday morning. Its sad that so many people had to loose their lives and their loved ones this holiday season. Very sad.

Kinda makes you thankful that Singapore is relatively safe from such unfortunate events. Can you imagine if one day a tornado were to hit Singapore? Or if we wake up one morning to find our houses under 2 meters of water? That would be devastating..

Reading about this, especially after watching “Pay it forward” yesterday, has made me realise how fragile and uncertain life is. I’ve been living the good life; happy, healthy, safe and also free from worry but I will never know if this will suddenly come to an end.

Life is short and unpredictable. And from now on I’m gonna make the best of it. Live life to the fullest and be thankful to god when I wake up in the morning. I’m gonna pursue whatever I want to achieve and never look back. Life is short and unpredictable; we have to make every moment count.

My heart goes out to the famlies that have lost their loved ones. May the souls of those whose lives were claimed by this tragedy rest in peace.
